What are we looking for?

We are looking for a System Configuration Expert with:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field;
• Proven experience in configuring and optimizing BaseX systems, including XML data modeling and writing XQuery queries;
• Knowledge of systems integration with enterprise platforms, including the use of APIs and data communication protocols (e.g. REST, MQTT);
• Experience in monitoring and tuning the performance of database systems for high availability and scalability;
• Advanced skills in data management and configuration of data security and integrity;
• Strong troubleshooting and failure analysis skills for accurate diagnosis and effective solutions;

What do we expect from you?

• Configure and optimize BaseX environments for storing, retrieving, and manipulating large volumes of data;
• Implement and manage XML data structures and develop XQuery queries to optimize the performance and efficiency of BaseX systems;
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate BaseX with other data systems and platforms, such as ERP, CRM, SCADA, and production systems;
• Establish backup, recovery, and data security processes to ensure information integrity and protection;
• Monitor and adjust system configuration parameters to improve scalability and performance;
• Document processes, configurations, and operating manuals to facilitate the maintenance and operation of BaseX systems;
• Provide technical support and training to IT teams and users on the use and maintenance of the BaseX system;
• Troubleshoot system configuration and optimization issues, working proactively to prevent outages;
