What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Mid./Sr. Data Platform Engineer with:

• Strong in Python 3.11+, a.o. FastAPI, Pydantic, pytest.
• Data-engineering experience (ETL, cleaning, scraping, data pipelines and orchestration).
• BigQuery.
• Dagster.
• Docker, GitHub Actions and setup of CI/CD pipelines.

We Value

• Experience with GCP services: Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, IAM/service accounts, Workload Identity, GKE
• LLM application work: Claude/Anthropic API, structured extraction, embeddings and vector search
• Cheminformatics or food-science knowledge (SMILES/InChI/CAS, molecular descriptors, sensory data, PTR-MS headspace)
• Knowledge of/experience with RDF/SPARQL/OWL
• Enough IaC: Terraform, Helm
• React + TypeScript to maintain and extend an internal dashboard
