What are we looking for?

We are looking for an Vulnerability Manager with:

• Higher education in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, preferably in similar roles;
• Ability to exploit vulnerabilities;
• Ability to identify and manage risks;
• Leadership skills and ability to work in a team.

Valued Knowledge:

• Experience with vulnerability management platforms;
• Scripting and programming skills (Python or equivalent);
• Deep and low-level knowledge of operating systems (Windows and UNIX);
• Experience in dashboarding, monitoring, and reporting on activity KPIs.

What do we expect from you?

• Maintain an up-to-date strategy for the vulnerability management process, ensuring a clear view of risks and the effectiveness of mitigation measures;
• Conduct vulnerability assessments on systems, networks, and applications to identify potential security weaknesses;
• Analyze and interpret the results of vulnerability scans or penetration test reports to determine the severity and potential impact of identified vulnerabilities;
• Validate whether vulnerabilities are indeed exploitable, demonstrating this when necessary through exploitation, even if it requires creating code or mechanisms for that purpose;
• Prioritize vulnerabilities based on their severity and potential impact on the organization’s operations, assets, and information;
• Ensure that remediation plans are in place with the relevant stakeholders to address identified vulnerabilities;
• Provide clarification and support to the involved teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of vulnerabilities;
• Stay up to date with the latest security threats and trends;
• Document vulnerabilities and remediation activities to maintain an accurate, centralized, and comprehensive record of the organization’s security posture;
• Monitor and report global vulnerability indicators to the organization.
