What are we looking for?

We are looking for an Azure and OCI Cloud Engineer with:

• Azure Cloud experience (OCI is a plus), specifically in the following technical components:
• Systems Administration: Experience with operating systems (Windows and Linux).
• Networking: Understanding of virtual networks, VNETs, VPNs and network security.
• Storage: Understanding of Azure storage solutions such as Blob Storage and Azure Files.
• Databases: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases in Azure.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree or technical institute certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field
• Professional experience and knowledge of the IT industry
• Development project experience;
• CI/CD: experience with integration pipelines and continuous delivery;
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Knowledge of tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Terraform, preferably;
• Automation: Ability to automate tasks using Ansible or other scripting tools.
• Autonomy to design a resource architecture, including networking and security components, based on a business requirement;
• Initiative to develop new skills as technology changes almost daily and we need to identify the impact on the current architecture/resources;
• Experience of agile methodologies;

What do we expect from you?

• Accountable for delivering, maintaining, and optimizing Cloud Platforms (mainly Azure) and related infrastructure, network, database, and middleware capabilities to support and enable the development and operations of Cloud modules and solutions.
• Accountable for implementing Cloud solutions, understanding their impact on the associated infrastructure, network and ensuring the availability of supporting and enabling infrastructure from internal or external service provider.
• Accountable for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the operational capacity, availability, and performance of the Cloud solutions against SLAs from a level two and level three support perspective.
• Accountable for providing engineering support for Cloud platform and infrastructure / network level two and level three incident and problem management.
• Drive the engineering discussions with Public Cloud service providers to forecast and right-size long-term capacity and performance requirements, iterating regularly.
